Cab or Volunteer Transportation Program (VTP)

Photo of UW students getting into cab.

UW-Madison students use the Volunteer Transportation Program to reach volunteer sites that are beyond walking distance and not serviced by Metro bus.

Why use the Cab service?

  1. The longest range of any mode, you can go almost anywhere!
  2. No driver's license necessary - anyone can use this service.
  3. Weather isn't a problem!

   Learn about other Transportation Options

  • Volunteers must be UW-Madison students registered in one of the following Morgridge Center programs:
  • Volunteers must volunteer for at least one hour with their community partner organization per trip.
  • The service is primarily offered during the fall and spring semesters while classes are in session (not during breaks).
