Award nominations and applications now open for students, faculty and staff!

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has a strong tradition of excellence in community engagement and public service. Every year, top students, faculty, staff and community members are honored for their contributions to local, statewide and global communities.
Morgridge Center Awards
The Morgridge Center for Public Service is now accepting nominations for exceptional individuals and organizations in the following categories:
- Outstanding Community Partner Award
- Louis Korenman badger Volunteers Award
- Excellence in Civic Engagement Undergraduate Award
- Excellence in Engaged Scholarship Graduate Student Award
- Meyerhoff Undergraduate Excellence Award
All award recipients will be honored at a reception Tuesday, May 5 and receive a stipend of between $400 – $1,000. Complete information and nomination deadlines can be found here.
Wisconsin Without Borders is also now accepting nominations and applications for campus projects that demonstrate excellence in local and global community engagement. Winners will be honored at the WWB Award Ceremony on Friday, April 24 and will receive a financial award of between $500 - $1,500. Both individual and group submissions are welcome.
Wisconsin Without Borders will honor multiple projects in four categories:
- Service Learning Award
- Community Based Research Award
- Peter Bosscher Award
- Multimedia Award
Wisconsin Without Borders is a UW-Madison alliance between the Morgridge Center for Public Service, the Global Health Institute and the Division of International Studies.
