Philanthropy Lab

Philanthropy Lab UW-Madison

The Philanthropy Lab is a new way to study and practice philanthropy at UW-Madison. Students manage real money, and distribute real grants to Wisconsin nonprofits.

The Connect Wisconsin Grant, funded by The Philanthropy Lab, strives to enhance the community of Dane County by supporting diverse and developing nonprofit organizations. We are a group of students from the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s School of Human Ecology pursuing an understanding of our interconnectedness and impact on the various environments of our community. Thanks to The Philanthropy Lab, we will provide monetary support to local developing nonprofit organizations who share our goals for strengthening the community around us.

To support organizations that strengthen and cultivate collaboration in the Dane County community.

Growing and sustaining impactful relationships between the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the community.
