Community-Engaged Scholarship Graduate
Laura Jessee Livingston is a first-year PhD student in the Environment and Resources Program within the Nelson Institute of Environmental Studies. Inspired by her experience as an Agricultural Adviser in Ghana in the Peace Corps, she returned to school to learn more about agricultural education and community development. During her M.S, Laura worked with farmers to create an apprenticeship program for new organic farmers in Wisconsin. Her experience working in a participatory project has propelled her into her Ph.D. field of community engaged evaluation. In her current role at the Morgridge Center, she supports Community Engaged Learning and Community Engaged Research.
