Wisconsin Experience Bus Trip

WEBT is an annual, weeklong trip for emerging student leaders on campus through the Wisconsin Union. WEBT brings UW–Madison student leaders together to expand on the Wisconsin Idea while traveling and serving throughout the state. Previous WEBT stops have included visiting an urban farm in Milwaukee, touring a dairy farm in Cleveland, holding a Q&A with Lambeau Field's Outreach Manager, meeting with leadership at Lac du Flambeau reservation, having dinner with Wisconsin Alumni Association members in Eau Claire, and volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary.

Badger Quest

Quest is a program of The Crossing, a campus ministry committed to service, peace, social justice, the celebration of diversity, and environmental consciousness. Quest partners with local hosts to provide opportunities for young adults to travel in small groups to explore compelling issues both domestically and internationally.

Hillel’s Alternative Breaks offer opportunities to give back to the global community, while making connections with other UW students. Past UW Hillel Alternative Break trips have traveled to Trinidad Tobago, Argentina, Rio de Janeiro, New Orleans, and Rwanda. Learn more!

Badger Catholic

Every year, the student organization Badger Catholic offers around ten service trips over winter and spring breaks. In the past, trip destinations have included New Orleans, Charleston, Camden (NJ), South Dakota, North Carolina, Appalachia, and many other locations. Service trip participants engage in a variety of activities, including building houses with Habitat for Humanity, tutoring at elementary schools, and serving at soup kitchens and homeless shelters. Habitat for Humanity UW Chapter

Habitat for Humanity UW is a student organization that aims to inform people about affordable housing, build homes for families in need in the Madison area, and address the housing crisis on a national and international level. Members go on domestic and international break trips, fundraise, build one home in the Madison community annually, and host weekly builds. Learn more!

Pay It Forward Bus Trip

This year, UW-Madison’s chapter of the student organization Students Today Leaders Forever will be sending out five Pay It Forward Tours over spring break. Each bus will travel to 5 cities en route to their Celebration Cities, Austin, TX and Salt Lake City, UT. Participants will do a series of unique service projects in each city during the day and leadership building activities at night. Learn more!
