Habitat for Humanity Lunch Provider

Habitat for Humanity is looking for groups or individuals interested and willing to feed 15-20 construction volunteers on Saturdays. A lunch provider is asked to bring a main course, a side dish, a dessert and all the paper products necessary to serve and eat the lunch. The primary locations for lunch providing are Madison, Fitchburg, and Verona. Groups must be available from 11:30 - 1:30 on a Saturday and must have the resources to feed 15-20 people on-site.

River Food Pantry needs Cooks and Servers

Consider helping feed 320+ families a hot nutritious meal every Friday at The River Food Pantry. Cooks start at 1 PM and servers need to arrive by 5 PM. The River Food Pantry is Dane County's busiest food pantry.

Meals on Wheels Volunteer 

Help deliver nutrition and smiles over the noon hour to those who are homebound in the Madison, Monona or Middleton area. Meals are provided Monday-Friday evenings and a route takes about 2 hours to complete. Deliveries occur 4:15 - 6:00pm. Six pickup sites are located throughout Madison. A one-hour training is required but can be completed at any time convenient for the volunteer.

Deliver Home Cooked Meals to Older Adults

RSVP of Dane County needs you to deliver home cooked meals to older adults unable to cook their own meals. RSVP of Dane County offers mileage reimbursement and excess auto insurance coverage and a flexible schedule. Hours of operation are generally during the noon lunch hour period Monday through Friday.

Lunch Assistants

Small or large groups of individuals are needed at Colonial Club Senior Activity Center for lunchtime assistance. Prepare silverware; set, clean and wipe tables and sweep in Adult Day Center. Volunteers needed weekdays 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.

Evening and Weekend Volunteer Groups in Product Recovery (Second Harvest) 

Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin needs groups to evaluate and sort boxes of food items and household products that have been donated by local stores, companies, and food drives. Learn more here

Volunteer Opportunity with Goodman Youth Grow Local Farm

The Goodman Youth Grow Local Farm engages a diverse population of elementary, middle and high school students in hands-on, farm-based education in an outdoor classroom. Youth are actively involved in the entire process of running a small-scale organic urban farm. We are looking for volunteer groups to help lay out and mulch beds and paths, plant seeds and plants and help with other farm tasks. No gardening experience is necessary.

Gardening for Agrace HospiceCare 

Agrace HospiceCare has stunning gardens, thanks to the labor and love of gardening volunteers! Agrace is looking for volunteers to help care for the grounds and gardens at our facility in Fitchburg. Volunteers work once per week during the spring/summer/fall season. Duties include planting, watering, weeding, and enjoying bringing joy to others.

Outings in the Madison Area with MTILP, Inc. 

We need volunteers to accompany our clients and staff on short trips (half hour to an hour) in the Madison area. Common trips are as follows: Badger Bowl, parks, stores, restaurants, Humane Society, Monona Terrace, Olbrich Gardens, and Henry Vilas Zoo. Volunteers will need to be able to volunteer for 1-2 hours and push a client in a wheelchair during the community outing. Volunteers will also need a short orientation prior to volunteering.
