The third Wisconsin Idea Conference will be on April 7, 2025 at Union South. This gathering seeks to provide a springboard for community and university collaborations and strengthen the culture of the Wisconsin Idea across UW-Madison.

Professional Development
This series showcases the breadth of community-based research on campus by providing in-depth examples of current research as it relates to students learning outcomes, community impacts and theoretical exploration.
Public Service Fair
We host the Public Service Fair twice a year. The events provide students the opportunity to connect with local, state and national nonprofit agencies. All UW–Madison students are encouraged to attend and find opportunities.
Association of Community-Engaged Scholars (ACES)
ACES strives to be a central meeting point and resource hub for graduate students professionally active in their communities, no matter their prior experience with community-engaged work.
Community-University Mixers
These social-oriented events are intended to provide both community organizations and campus faculty and staff the opportunity to connect over shared interests, build relationships, share resources and potentially seed partnerships.
