Community Campus Connectors
Various offices at UW are actively involved in community engagement and outreach efforts. The Community Campus Connectors (C3) group is a coalition of community-engaged units and offices that routinely connect to support campuswide involvement with community members and organizations.
Community-University Mixers
The Morgridge Center regularly hosts Community University Mixers. These social-oriented events, each organized around a different topic, are intended to provide both community organizations and campus faculty and staff the opportunity to connect over shared interests, build relationships, share resources and potentially seed partnerships.
UW South Madison Partnership
The UW South Madison Partnership (UWSMP) is a UW–Madison initiative designed to meet the South Madison community’s needs and foster mutually beneficial relationships.
Located in The Village on Park, the space recently underwent an expansion and encourages engagement between community members and UW–Madison in accessible and meaningful ways.
The Partnership offers free space rentals for campus and community organizations. University partners are encouraged to utilize the space for classes and meetings to engage community members and integrate students into the community. Please read usage guidelines before reserving a space.

Work-Study and Intern Positions
Work-study is a need-based federal student aid program that gives students the opportunity to earn money through part-time employment.
Some local non-profit organizations and small businesses within the state of Wisconsin may be eligible to earn your federal work-study offer.

Registered Student Organizations
Community Organizations can use the Wisconsin Involvement Network (WIN) to explore & connect with student organizations that align with their goals and needs.
Community organizations seeking volunteer support can connect with students involved in Fraternity & Sorority Life at UW–Madison, a large network of student chapters committed to service and community engagement. Fraternities and sororities often look for opportunities to participate in group volunteer projects, service days, and community events.
