Attention all UW-Madison students!
The Fall Public Service Fair is an opportunity for students of all majors to get connected with local nonprofits, organizations, internships, and government-related careers. Join us on Monday, Sept. 9, from 1-5 p.m. at Gordon Dining & Events Center!
The Public Service Fair allows students to interact with more than 60 service-related organizations that are currently seeking volunteers, interns and service-year participants. Whether you are passionate about food justice, sustainability, social justice, or civic engagement, there’s something for everyone. Explore opportunities with groups like The Literacy Network, Black Voters Matter, Center for Urban Teaching, Habitat for Humanity of Dane County and many more.
This year, the Public Service Fair is thrilled to partner with the City of Madison and UniverCity Alliance to provide special access to city resources and a chance to network with city staff and elected officials. Whether you are considering a future in government or simply want to learn more about the city’s services, this is your chance!
Feel free to come as you are—no resume or professional attire is required! Students are merely encouraged to bring their curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to discover how they can contribute to the Madison community.
Interested? Register here, or just drop by. Registration is not required and students are welcome to attend at their own convenience.
This event is presented by the Morgridge Center for Public Service and School of Human Ecology. Contact Shelby Fosco for general questions.
