The Morgridge Center for Public Service and SuccessWorks at the College of Letters and Science are prepared to launch this fall’s Public Service Fair virtually on Wednesday, Sept. 16!
Emily Schmitz, who graduated in May, had just finished an internship right before the university made the announcement in mid-March to transition the rest of the semester to all virtual learning due to concerns and risks of COVID-19.
The Morgridge Center for Public Service will continue to be open virtually fall semester. Our programs and support are pivoting in ways that support community-identified priorities, faculty and the learning needs of students.

This semester the Morgridge Center for Public Service welcomes two new peer advisors to the center. Matt Flynn and Caitriona Hobart will help advise students interested in volunteering in the Madison community.
On Friday, Jan. 24 at 7 a.m., registration opens for this semester of Badger Volunteers, the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s largest student-led volunteer program. Badger Volunteers registration is open to all UW-Madison undergraduates and graduates.
Two students, Tina Marshalek and Rob Kiser, both transferred to UW-Madison from Madison College after discovering their desire to further their education past an associate’s degree.
