Equitable Community Engagement in the Nonprofit Sector with Morgridge Center Alumni Sam Park

GridgeFridge — the Morgridge Center for Public Service podcast — released the seventh episode of its second season about forming and developing equitable community engagement in the nonprofit sector with former Morgridge Center special events intern Samuel Park.

Park graduated from UW–Madison in 2018 with degrees in neurobiology and sociology and a certificate in global health. During his time at the Morgridge Center, Park worked on numerous community-engaged collaborations including Walk the Walk, All-Campus Day of Service, UW MLK Day and Be the Change Bash. Park also worked for various organizations such as Community Shares of Wisconsin, REAP Food Group and Kids Forward.

Park is now the program manager working on global partnerships at The Human Rights Campaign, which is America’s largest civil rights organization advocating for LGBTQ+ equality.
