Find Your Future Career at the Fall Public Service Fair

UW-Madison students interested in getting involved with the wider Madison community should visit the Public Service Fair on Thursday, Sept. 4, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Gordon Dining and Events Center to learn more about the possibilities for a future career in public service.

Connect with nationally recognized organizations and nonprofits at this year’s Public Service Fair, including notable participants such as Habitat for Humanity and the Ronald McDonald House. Over 50 other local organizations, centered around sustainability efforts, community-based work or civic engagement, will be offering opportunities to volunteer, intern or participate in long-term service work. See the Fall 2025 participating organizations.

This year, the Morgridge Center is excited to partner with the UniverCity Alliance and the City of Madison to bring specialty city resources and government officials to the public service fair, informing students who may be interested in getting involved in the political sector. Everything from law enforcement to the Madison fire department and members of the city clerk’s office will be in attendance.

If you’re interested in a potential career in the public service sector, come and network with some local and national organizations.

Students are encouraged to treat this fair casually and drop by to explore and ask questions. Students who participate and network with five organizations will also receive a free headshot!
