The Morgridge Center for Public Service is now accepting applications for its Community-based Research (CBR) and Community-based Learning (CBL) course development grant.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and grants may provide up to $5,000.
Community-based Research Grant
CBR projects can be at any stage of development. This funding can be used to develop a CBR project, support implementation of a project or provide gap or bridge funding for an existing project, if other funding is forthcoming or likely.
This funding cannot be used for faculty member salary, but may pay staff members, student employees or community partners. Proposals that use a portion of funding for community partner expenses will be given extra weight.

Community-based Learning Course Development Grant
The Community-based Learning Course Development Grant is intended to support courses that bring together a diverse group of UW–Madison students to engage in CBL with non-profit or community organizations.
Faculty or academic instructional staff can apply for up to $5,000 in funding per course. This grant can only be awarded once per course or course section.
