The Morgridge Center for Public Service is currently seeking submissions for proposals and student posters for the Wisconsin Idea Conference.
The Disability Justice Collective is a participatory-action research group at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater that works toward fostering more inclusive environments in college campuses by reflecting on their own lived experiences as students with disabilities. Their work is funded in part through a $7,000 Community-based research Grant from the Morgridge Center.
The Morgridge Center for Public Service celebrated its 30th anniversary on Thursday, Oct. 9, hosting an open-house party with keynote speakers, food and community. The celebration brought together students, faculty and staff, alumni and community partners to appreciate the center’s three decades of service.

The 30th anniversary of the Morgridge Center is not just a testament to time, but a reflection of its enduring impact on the thousands of students, faculty and community members who contributed to its legacy.
Seventeen faculty and campus members at the University of Wisconsin–Madison have been named Morgridge Fellows. The Morgridge Fellows program is a unique opportunity for individuals to learn and explore ways to further weave community engagement into the core functions of the university.
The Morgridge Center is excited to welcome back Emma Gleed as the new educational programs manager. Emma is a returning member of the center, having formerly served as both an intern and Americorps Achievement Connections Coordinator. She looks forward to bringing her extensive community engagement skills into this new position.
Over the course of the past year, a team of three UW-Madison students worked to create a mentorship venture by pairing with other Asian American students at Madison West High School.
